"We chose to visit Chen Lin Chinese Restaurant in Denbigh for a Christmas Eve dinner and it turned out to be a great choice. On arrival we were welcomed by the team and invited to choose a table as the restaurant was not busy though it was only 5pm. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed which suited an early evening meal perfectly. Not long after being seated we were ordering our drinks and shortly afterwards placing our food order. We decided to start with vegetable spring rolls and chicken and sweetcorn soup which were both well presented and enjoyable. For our main courses we chose the chicken curry with fried rice and the sizzling steak. All of the food looked great when it arrived and the sizzling steak came with a nice bit of theatre during the presentation which added to the experience. Everything tasted really good and was clearly freshly prepared. The service from the team was excellent throughout our visit even as the restaurant began to fill up during our time there. We never felt rushed and the staff remained friendly and attentive. I would recommend a visit to Chen Lin if you are looking for great food in a nice location with a great team."
